Family structure

The Thai family structure tries to be in tune with nature in the past. They did things according to the weather and friendly with the land. They also did things to be in the correct way with the natural world of the family. If a member of the family were gone, other people in the family would do that job, like the Dai and Yai did for the mother of Sang Tong when she was in the forest. They became the replacement for her own grandparents who would take care of her in this case.
